We had been together since we were sophomores in highschool. Everything changed for me, the day we met each other in Social Studies class. She sat in front of me and we hit it off from the start. She was so sensible, stunning and funny. Eventually I got the nerve to ask her to the autumn dance and she accepted. I knew from that moment forward we would be along forever. We both planned to attend college at the state university after graduation. We have a tendency to even spoke regarding wedding, once we were finished with our degrees. Her dream was to attend Harvard University but she was certain that she wouldn't be accepted. 3 months before we were to start out class at the state university, she recieved an acceptance letter from Harvard. We were each elated but worried about how a long distance relationship would result our relationship. It took her a week and we both agreed that she required to attend Harvard and live out her dream. We both graduated from university and she continued on with her masters degree, while I took a teaching undertaking in a town close to where we grew up. We both still wrote each other throughout the years and tried to keep in touch. Life happened and we eventually lost touch with every other. I always puzzled what had happened to my old friend. Recently, I was eating at a diner that was once our favorite spot to spend time all together. She was on my mind the rest of the day. Later that night I looked on the Internet for someway to find her. I ran across a internet service that allowed it's users to conduct a complimentary background check online or perhaps a individuals search. After plugging in her information, I had her phone number on my computer monitor. I wasn't certain what to expect but I went ahead and called the number. To my surprise she was just as happy to hear from me and we spent every night on the phone catching up with each other. We spent hours catching up with each other. Currently we speak on the phone a minimum of once every week and correspond by email many more and more times a week. We are rebuilding our friendship and she has even invited me to go to her for Christmas. I am thus happy to be back in touch with her and I consider I can not fall out of touch with her again.
