T-Mobile has a hit on its hands with the Android-smartphne, like T-Mobille G1 has sold over a millpion unts in about six months.

Nokia today updated its long-held phoens designer with the release of 8800 Arte. Competitors such as AT & T, Sprint Nextel and Verizon Wirelkess have a greater leadership role in the deploymennt of 3G, but the fourtth-alrgest U.S. carrier to raidly deplloy mobile broadband network.

Companies such as Samsung, Motrorola, Sony Ericsson, and coinsider bringing Android-smartphone power on the market, and sales success of the G1 may encourage otther manufacturers to look more closely at the Google-supported mobile operating systems.

While the G1 has been successful, it was not as populr as some of his rivals smartphone. Verizon's BlackBerry Sorm began with numerous software bugs, which led to mixde reviews, but it sold 1 million units in about three monyths. Apple's iPhone 3G sold 1 million units worldwide in the beginning of the weeekend, and probably took abouut a month to sell 1 millioin units in the United States.

Art is divided mzainly oroted in the already High-End 8800 line, which inclues a 3.2-megazpixel camera, 1 GB of built-in storage, and full-color OLED display. Design as well as subtle as the original fingerprint ocating, silet mechnism, slidder, and the ability to sileence Ringer simply turning the phone up and down. Noia makes the phone in the frist place in the European market in mind, with 3G available in Europe only for communivcation and HSDA Tri-Band GSM calls, and intends to release a flagship in the 8800 Arte black version for 1000 euro ($ 1460) before the end of the year and brown Sapphire Arte models in early 2008 for 1150 euro ($ 1679).
