If You Want To See A Different Vampire Story, Then Watch True Blood - By: Slugger Slugger

My brother told me to watch true blood in HBO because it is not the typical vampire story that we all see from time to time and last night was the start of HBO’s most talked vampire series, True Blood. If you haven’t seen the premiere of True Blood last night, you can still watch true blood’s previous episodes through the net. New Orleans was the chosen place of the said series and its star, Sookie Stackhouse is a waitress at Merlotte’s bar and Grill. The role of Sookie was played by Anne Paquin, an Oscar award winning actress from The Piano and the famous marvel story X-Men.

As I watch true blood I observed that Sookie is not the typical waitress because she has the ability to read what is on people’s minds. And in this series vampires are living openly with people, talking with them, and even having a party with them. With the help of the new synthetic blood of the Japanese the vampires do not need to kill a human just to fulfil their hunger and thirst of human blood.

In the premiere of the True Blood Series, a vampire visited the bar and sits in Sookie’s station. Sookie then immediately is attracted to the vampire and that’s when the fun starts.

I thought last night’s premiere of True Blood was a bit comical. This new take which is inspired by vampires is somehow interesting and unique. Interesting in a way that humans are not afraid to talk, party around with vampires, and even have a relationship with them. It is just that vampires are like humans and are just a normal member of a society. If you most likely think that this series will be the typical run of the mill vampire tale then you will be pleasantly surprised after you watch true blood because the story is totally different. Sookie, your southern heroine is inviting, smart, and vibrant. The role of Bill is somehow the typical vampire which is of course dark, mysterious and ominous. Your first impression to Bill will most likely be brutal, killer, and mysterious but along the story goes you can find him to be a loving vampire and willing to sacrifice his life for Sookie. You also have a bunch of supporting characters, and I mean characters that exactly bring something to the story. Lafayette
Reynolds the so called “flaming cook in the series will surely bring you some laughs this season if you love raunchy humor. Of course villain characters in is still present in True Blood which you surely love and hate.

For some, True Blood’s sex scene will be too racy, But like in most vampire stories; sex has always been an intricate part of their lives. I myself, personally do not need those scenes. For me the story carried itself without the sex scenes. After I watch true blood I think this series is a must to watch and will keep you coming back for more.
